Volunteering and Education

Our cause comes to life through community work. From the very beginning, we have engaged local citizens in restoration efforts through native reforestation volunteer workdays across the country. Over 5,500 volunteers have joined us, and their dedication has been key to achieving sustainable results.

During these workdays, volunteers experience firsthand what it means to recover and restore degraded areas, vulnerable communities, and educational institutions—building a deep connection with the restoration of our native forests. Every action contributes to tackling the climate crisis, protecting ecosystems, and strengthening community bonds.

Types of Volunteer Programs

Native Reforestation

In ecologically valuable areas, such as national parks and reserves, our volunteers take part in the entire reforestation process—from digging holes and planting trees to installing tree guards. Everyone enjoys a unique experience while making a meaningful contribution.

Urban Forestry

Enfocados en restaurar áreas verdes en comunas vulnerables, buscamos mejorar la calidad de vida y recuperar espacios públicos. Con el apoyo de voluntarios y vecinos, plantamos árboles y cuidamos estos espacios, promoviendo un entorno más saludable y agradable para las comunidades.

Maintenance Volunteering

Our volunteers ensure the long-term success of reforestation efforts by carrying out key tasks such as optimizing water use, removing nutrient competition, and adjusting tree guards.

Environmental Education

Beyond planting, we educate on the importance of forests. We offer theoretical and hands-on field sessions where participants and volunteers execute reforestation firsthand.

Some Examples

Parquemet Santiago

We support the exotic-to-native species conversion plan of Latin America’s largest urban park through reforestation and maintenance workdays alongside local citizens, institutions, and corporate partners.

Maipú Municipality

It is one of the most critical ‘urban heat islands’ in the Santiago Metropolitan Region due to its lack of tree canopy cover. We took on the task of supporting the restoration of its urban forestry through the commitment of corporate sponsors and local residents.

Jorge Huneeus Z. School

Located in La Pintana and certified for excellence by the SNCAE (National Environmental Certification System for Educational Establishments), we have held environmental education workdays, planting native trees inside the school alongside its students and with the support of corporate partners.

Coyhaique National Reserve

In the heart of Patagonia, we are working to restore this natural green lung to a more resilient state following historic wildfires. We have traveled here on multiple occasions accompanied by volunteers from all over Chile, supported by corporate partners.
