Volunteering and Education

Our cause gains meaning through community work. Since our beginnings, we have involved citizens in restoration efforts through native reforestation volunteer programs across the country. Over 5,500 volunteers have contributed, and their efforts have been key to achieving sustainable results.

During these activities, volunteers experience firsthand what it means to recover and restore degraded areas, vulnerable communities, and educational institutions, fostering a deep connection with the process of native forest recovery. Each action helps combat the climate crisis, protect ecosystems, and strengthen community bonds.

We have different types of volunteers

Native reforestation

In ecologically valuable areas, such as reserves and national parks, our volunteers participate in the entire reforestation process, from digging holes and planting trees to placing protectors. Each person has a unique experience and makes a significant contribution.

Urban forestry

Focused on restoring green areas in vulnerable communities, we aim to improve quality of life and recover public spaces. With the support of volunteers and neighbors, we plant trees and care for these spaces, promoting a healthier and more pleasant environment for communities.

Maintenance volunteers

Our volunteers ensure the long-term success of reforestation efforts by performing key tasks such as optimizing water use, removing nutrient competition, and adjusting tree protectors.

Environmental education

In addition to planting, we educate about the importance of forests. We offer theoretical and practical sessions in the field, where participants and volunteers carry out reforestation activities.

Some examples

Santiago Parquemet

We support the conversion plan from exotic to native species in the largest urban park in Latin America through reforestation and maintenance volunteer programs, working alongside citizens, institutions, and companies.

Maipú commune

This area is one of the most significant “heat islands” in the Metropolitan Region due to its lack of vegetation coverage. We have taken on the task of supporting the restoration of its urban forestry, thanks to the commitment of businesses and neighbors.

Jorge Huneeus Z. School

Located in La Pintana and certified for excellence by the SNCAE (Sustainable Schools Program), we have conducted environmental education days, planting native trees alongside students within the school, with the support of companies.

Coyhaique National Reserve

In the heart of Patagonia, we work to restore this green lung to a more natural condition post-forest fires. We have traveled here several times accompanied by volunteers from all over Chile, with the support of companies.
