Donation Program

Since 2017, our native tree donation initiative has grown to encompass various facets, allowing us to support a wide range of projects driven by local communities, cooperatives, neighborhood associations, and national institutions. This line of action emerged as a tangible, direct response to the forest fires that have devastated—and continue to impact—our country, affecting conservation as well as economic and social stability. For us, these three pillars must be built hand in hand.

Our Goal:

From our very beginnings, when we took on the challenge of becoming Chile’s largest reforestation campaign, we learned that a project of this scale must be driven by collective participation. We discovered that when you engage diverse stakeholders—those directly or indirectly affected by the degradation of their surroundings—and make them part of the restoration process, the result is much more than a new native forest. It becomes a forest that raises awareness about deforestation, environmental stewardship, and sustainable management.

Our Impact

Beekeepers

Supporting beekeepers affected by wildfires. Through this initiative, we strengthen the local economy by partnering with small-scale producers who depend on the sustainable management of these ecosystems.

Local Communities

Participating in native forest restoration fosters community engagement with the environment, drives economic projects, improves local quality of life, and expands green spaces.

Educational Projects

Delivering native trees to schools, municipalities, and local institutions to educate the public on the importance of native forests and strengthen their green spaces.

Conservation Initiatives

Supporting native reforestation projects led by other institutions and NGOs, ensuring the delivery of site-appropriate native species and compliance with planting guidelines.

Methodology

In alliance with regional agencies and associations, we develop restoration projects alongside small and medium-scale entrepreneurs who depend on the sustainable management of native forests. We support them through the donation of native trees, tree shelters, stakes, hydrogel, and fertilizers, as well as technical forestry training to ensure the optimal execution of the planting process.

Partnership Examples

Junji Biobío

Donation of 2,000 native trees to JUNJI (Chile’s National Kindergarten Board) in the Biobío region. These trees were distributed to 2,000 families of children attending the institution's preschools, as part of their campaign 'One JUNJI Family, One Tree of Life' ('Una familia JUNJI, un árbol de vida').

ONG Costa Sur

A donation of 1,000 trees to ONG Costa Sur in the municipalities of Cobquecura and Pelluhue. This organization is leading a conservation project for the Queule (Gomortega keule), an endangered native species, alongside the development of an ecological restoration and environmental education park.

Beekeeping Associations

Through a partnership with the Copelec Cooperative and the Mesa Apícola, we have spent over five years donating more than 152,600 native trees to beekeepers in the O'Higgins, Maule, Ñuble, and Biobío regions who were impacted by the massive 2017 wildfires in the country's center-south region.

CONAF Aysén

A donation of 10,000 native trees to CONAF (Chile’s National Forestry Corporation), which were planted on Coyhaique's iconic Cerro Divisadero. This initiative aims to restore areas damaged by wildfires while mitigating air pollution in one of the country's most affected cities.
