With the goal of bringing conservation opportunities closer to the public, we launched a program in 2021 that allows private landowners to apply to have their properties reforested by our foundation.
What We Offer
We provide partial or total funding for native species reforestation projects, which includes labor, materials, seedlings, and technical assistance. However, in areas with livestock, our projects do not cover the installation of fencing; this remains the sole responsibility of the landowner.
What We Are Looking For
We seek landowners who are committed to biodiversity conservation or interested in generating socio-environmental benefits on their land. Eligible properties must have at least 9 hectares (22 acres) available for native reforestation, and owners must be willing to place these areas under a Real Conservation Right (DRC).
This program is currently available in the following regions: Maule, Ñuble, Biobío, La Araucanía, Los Ríos, Los Lagos, and Aysén.
How to Participate
To apply, simply complete the form, attach photos, and upload a file showing the boundaries of the area to be reforested. After you submit your application, we will contact you to schedule a technical site visit for properties that meet the criteria, finalizing the list of lands to be restored.
